Jay Badame serves as president and chief operating officer of Tishman Construction, An AECOM Company, in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He has more than 38 years of construction industry experience, the last 31 of which have been with Tishman.
Jay has been overseeing the construction of some of the region’s newest landmark structures, such as the 1, 3 and 4 World Trade Center office towers and has overseen several notable higher education projects, including: Cornell Tech - the technology-focused campus of Cornell University located in New York City, The New School University Center, Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business, New York University’s Brittany Hall, and the new dormitory at Pace University in downtown Manhattan.
He currently serves as chair of the board of The Regional Alliance for Small Contractors, a vice chairman of the Building Trades Employers’ Association, a governor of the New York Building Foundation, and a trustee of the Citizens Budget Commission.
Wendell Scanterbury, MDiv, CMC, is the director of pastoral care at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Eastern Regional Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pa., where he cares for patients and their families through spiritual and emotional support, education and counseling.
Wendell has given presentations throughout the Northeast on cancer-related topics, including caregiving, communicating with children, cancer ministry, men’s issues, survivorship, and grief and bereavement.
Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate, specializing in marriage and family, at Eastern University in Pennsylvania. Wendell holds a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary, Glenside, Pa., and a Bachelor of Science degree from Nyack College, Nyack, N.Y. He is a certified Master Chaplain with the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security, a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and a member of the Association of Professional Chaplains.
