Raymond R. Schroeder has been a leading figure in home health care and hospice care in South Carolina for more than three decades. His career began in earnest when in 1979 he was elected president of the South Carolina Home Care Association.
Since 1979, he has served as CEO and chairman of Interim HealthCare of Greenville, Inc., Greenville, S.C. It is the largest non-governmental home health agency in South Carolina, with six full-service home health offices through the Piedmont area.
In addition, since 1997, he has served as CEO and chairman of Interim HealthCare Hospice; in January 2016, the agency became the first hospice and only the third organization in the nation to receive HealthCare Chaplaincy Network’s Excellence in Spiritual Care Award. He is also managing partner of Home Telemedicine HealthCare, LLC, which provides personal emergency response systems and home vital sign monitoring systems.
Ray, who has a law degree, currently serves on the boards of several organizations, including the Southside Christian School, Christian Athletes Association, and Florida State University Alumni Association; and served on the executive committee of CareCam Innovations and Archway Insurance Company, and as past president of the Rotary Club of Greenville and the South Carolina Home Care & Hospice Association.
